Turkey season doesn’t care if your back is broken. On Cinco de Mayo, I could barely stand up after throwing my back out. One chiropractor visit later (and yes… it felt like black magic), we were right back in the woods chasing spring gobblers. Probably not the smartest decision… but missing turkey season wasn’t an option. What followed was one of those hunts you don’t forget — pain, patience, calling, and a fired-up tom that committed. When that bird stepped into range, everything else disappeared.
