5 Elements of Public Land Waterfowl – Love Your Neighbor

Public land hunting is vastly different from private hunting. One of the main differences is the number of people you will encounter. You might see them at the gas station, on the docks, or even in the hole. If you have one of those days where someone has beat you to the hole, and all you feel is loss, the best thing you can do is to shake that other man’s hand and slide on down the road.

Love your neighbor means if you get beat to that hole, don’t be the guy who heads 50 yards down the road and takes their swings. Treat them how you would want to be treated and let them have their hunt in that hole. Always have a plan b in place for these instances. The outdoors will pay you back if you treat your fellow hunters with respect.

This concludes Billy Campbell’s 5 Elements of Public Land Waterfowl hunting. Make sure to catch up on his other videos if you haven’t done so already!
