Buccaneers and Bones

The stunning saltwater flats of the Bahamas are the backdrop for an exciting fishing expedition and conservation effort called “Buccaneers and Bones”. The series is narrated by the famous journalist, Tom Brokaw, who leads the expedition in search of the legendary bonefish found on the island. Along with Brokaw, a diverse group of individuals including celebrities, authors, and business leaders, come together to fly-fish and share their experiences about the joys of the sport. These modern-day buccaneers also discuss the significance of safeguarding marine species for future generations. The series showcases research funded by the Bonefish & Tarpon Trust and other organizations, which provides valuable information to help anglers catch more fish and protect the delicate coastal habitats.
